เก่งจังเลย (gèng jang loei)Literally: "So talented/skilled!" — Thailand's go-to sarcastic phrase. Said when someone does something stupid or shows off. The จัง intensifies the fake admiration.

ดีจังเลย (dii jang loei)Literally: "So great!" — Universal sarcastic response when things go wrong. Your flight is cancelled? "Dii jang loei." Maximum fake enthusiasm.

ว้าว เจ๋งมาก (wáao jěng mâak)Literally: "Wow, so cool!" — Exaggerated fake amazement for something completely unimpressive. The longer the "wáao," the more sarcastic.

อ้อ งั้นเหรอ (ôr ngán rěr)Literally: "Oh, is that so?" — Disinterested acknowledgment. Thai "I don't care about what you just said" disguised as a response.

ขอบคุณมากนะคะ/ครับ (khàwp khun mâak ná khá/khráp)Literally: "Thank you very much." — When said with the right tone and a smile, it means "thanks for nothing." Thai sarcasm hides behind extreme politeness.

น่าสนใจจัง (nâa sŏn jai jang)Literally: "How interesting!" — Said about something completely boring. Thai people often smile while delivering this, making it harder to detect.

โอ้โห ตั้งใจจัง (ôo hŏo dtâng jai jang)Literally: "Wow, so dedicated!" — When someone puts way too much effort into something pointless or does something unnecessarily dramatic.

เหรอคะ/ครับ ไม่รู้เลย (rěr khá/khráp mâi rúu loei)Literally: "Really? I had no idea." — When someone tells you something obvious. The fake innocence is the Thai sarcastic trademark.
